The Gaelic word “craic” is used in the West of Scotland and the islands. 
If you ask “what’s the craic?”, that’s another way of asking for someone to fill you in on the gossip and what’s going on.
Expect lots of laughter, noisy banter, songs, dancing and of course lots of words .. and perhaps more than a few drams (slainte mhath).



NOTE: SCOTTISH AND IRISH GAELIC ARE CLOSE COUSINS, AND THE WORD IS USED SIMILARLY ON EITHER SIDE OF THE IRISH SEA.
